Who are the TEN-T?
The Trans European Transport Networks are not merely a policy-making tool, their introduction affects many different stakeholders: industry, railway staff, customers and citizens. The decision-making process on the TEN-T integrates actors like the European institutions – the Commission, the European Parliament and the EU Member States; the TEN-T EA (Trans European Transport Networks executive Agency); representatives of the Industry; NGOs; and citizens. To varying degrees, each of them gives input to help determine the final outcome of the European Transport infrastructure strategy.
In this section you will find a glossary of the stakeholders involved. In addition you will find a guide on how to get involved and a contact list of all the existing NGOs and citizens’ initiatives dealing with transport infrastructure issues
